Ghost Hunters fans were taken by surprise with the announcement that Ashley Troub would be leaving the show. The announcement came in the midst of theRochester Library investigation that aired on Nov. 28.
During the show, paranormal investigators Jason Hawes and Steve Gonsalves asked Ashley to join them on the third floor of the library. When she arrived, they asked her to sit down because they would like to discuss her future. According to Jason, lead investigator on “Ghost Hunters”, he and Steve had arranged for Ashley to join the TAPS family in California to gain experience investigating the paranormal.
Ashley reacted by expressing that she was willing to do whatever they thought was best for her to again experience.
Neither Jason nor Steve made any mention of whether she would ever return to the “Ghost Hunters” series, and no reason was given for the change in plans.
Ashley Troub joined “Ghost Hunters” in September on a trial basis as a paranormal investigator to see how she would work out with the team. Although there appears to have been no issues with her work, it seems that things did not work out as hoped. Ashley will no longer be part of the “Ghost Hunters” team.
Tune in to the season finale of “Ghost Hunters” on Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 9/8c on SyFy.
