Ghost Hunters Fans.com obtained some inside information from the Jefferson City, MO Convention and Visitors Bureau Wednesday that a popular ghost hunters show will air an episode about the Missouri State Penitentiary. The Travel Channel’s Ghost Adventures recently shot at the penitentiary and secondhand Jefferson City residents for a number of reenactments, including the 1954 Riot and double execution of Bonnie Heady and Carl Hall.
The show stars Zak Bagans, Nick Groff and Aaron Goodwin examines infamous, supposedly-haunted places. The program’s hosts lock themselves in the structure from dusk-to-dawn while they examine paranormal activity.
The episode is set to air in August.
